7/8ths of the Way There explores the final days of George, a quirky, fun-loving (and terminally-ill) man seeking a penile implant, as his wife, Kathy, a deep-thinking workaholic, struggles to plan for an uncertain future. An intimate look at marriage, love, loss, death, and sex through their eyes exposes tragic circumstances, the enduring hopefulness of the human spirit, and the absurd lengths George will go to hang onto life, as his nears its end.
